DESCRIPTION:This meeting is exploratory. The South Metro Denver chapter has taken the initiative to rename the chapter Greater Denver PF. We have taken the initiative to schedule this meeting. This is in response to frequent concerns by PF members in the north area that there has been no effective outreach to members in this part of the metro area. Our hunch is that there are many folks that want to be active in the PF organization. Our chapter sees an opportunity to facilitate that unmet need and to further goals in conservation and education. \n\n\n\nThere will be discussion to gauge what options can be useful. We would appreciate your attendance and thoughts on what could be a way forward.

SUMMARY:Habitat Project at Barr Lake State Park
DESCRIPTION:South Metro Chapter members will join again with Oxy volunteers at Barr Lake State Park for a habitat project. The May 25 event from 8 am to noon will see volunteers plant 3 long rows of approximately 120 junipers\, plums\, and sumacs for a windbreak.  \n\n\n\nOxy executives and a film crew are expected to document this project\, which may also attract state-level officials.
